If you just use the camera,it's pretty tough to shoot half underwater/half and half photos,because the water line,fild magnification stop you dong that,so to even things out,you need this dome port
The dome pished the water line away from the lens,the field of view is increased above and below water simultaneously.
The water magnigies things,This distorts the look of photos,making the above water objects look with this dome port,it normalizes the field of the view,it match up above and below the water line.
For Gopro 4 black version with added LCD screen,ot others with added LCD screen,but not Gopro 4 session.
